Jean Carlson, LE, COE

Jean Carlson is a Wisconsin Licensed Esthetician with an advanced Certificate in Oncology Modified Esthetics.  After receiving the benefits of a therapeutic facial, Jean knew she had to follow her passion and help others to improve the health of their skin. A therapeutic facial will help with the care of your skin and also help you experience the importance of touch, build self esteem, de-stress and understand the mind-body connection that will help you to relax and heal.

Jean is an advocate for spa professionals to utilize their individual talents and to reach out to their clients and community. She currently resides near Watertown with her husband Greg and their rescued dogs, cats and chickens.  Organic gardening is a favorite pastime, as well as kayaking hiking and camping.

Her passion is driven by a culmination of her own cancer experiences in 2005 and 2006, as well as her role as caretaker for her sister’s cancer journey. Skin care during treatment has its challenges as the body tries to cleanse itself of the medications and treatments being used to fight the cancer.  Oncology modified skin care therapy is a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly skin care treatment to greatly reduce the damage and dehydration caused by these life saving and necessary treatments.  Jean can offer the gentle care and touch that stressed skin, body and mind are craving.
